Nic Myers served in the US Army from 2012 to 2016 as a UH-60 Blackhawk door gunner, deploying once to Afghanistan from 2013-2014. After his service, Nic discovered his true love in strongman and immediately found massive success. In 2017, he became the 200 pound National Champion and America’s Strongest Veteran. This earned him his professional strongman card and four consecutive appearances at the Official Strongman Games World’s Strongest Man Competition. During this time, he never placed outside the Top 5. Nic won 1st overall in the 2021 World’s Strongest Man (90 kg Division) and 2nd place in 2022. He is also the current World Record holder for the Circus Dumbbell.
Though he is rarely found outside of the gym, he does find time to care for his epic beard and willingly shares his passion for the sport of strongman with as many people as possible. Anyone who has ever met him is immediately stricken by his fierce love for competition.
